Following are a few screenshots of places where real life brands decided to set camp in Second Life. Couldn't decide if to present each shot or just slap them on the page, "no comments" style. I would have went with the latter but the image quality isn't as good as I had hoped for some reason so confusion might ensue.

Pontiac. Simple. Maybe even classy.
IBM/Sears

The Starwood aLoft hotel. The Real Life ones aren't open yet.

Last, my personal favorite. Toyota. Look at it and tell me it doesn't look a bit like a shot from one of the newer Need for Speed games. Except the fat lady.

There are more brands "floating" around in Second Life so expect a bigger follow-up to this short post, one with some analysis content. Cheers.
